Trust in the Lord
I continually see a bright white glowing DNA helix that unwinds and winds back up before me. (The DNA molecule is the program that codes each individual species. How the proteins are combined provides the unique blueprint for each creature.)
When I asked Him what He was doing, He said. “Sit and watch in wonder with Me.” For a moment, we sat and watched the beauty as it slowly moved. I was speechless and had no ability to grasp the complexity of it all. “If I can create all things from nothing and hold life within My hands. Within your DNA and every one of My image bearers is the perfection I originally created. What is it for me to remove any blemish that you allowed in?”

“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” (Colossians 1:16-17, ESV)
He’s been showing me the power of the above scripture. If it is true that Christ holds all things together, it has staggering implications. It would mean He holds the simplest of small cells which is beyond our imagination in its intricacies to the fullness of every galaxy He has ever made in perfect balance.
Sit in awe of this truth for a moment.
If he holds all things tougher and prevents the world from deteriorating into chaos. We can trust Him with all of our needs. He supplied for all our needs since the foundation of time. The cross and His finished work gives us access to salvation, healing, and the resurrection power of Christ.
I believe He is prompting me to submit to Him and repent of any unrighteous thoughts. It is so easy to have wrong thinking and not even be aware of it. We have religious thoughts or doctrines that are not biblical. But we’ve had them for so long that we aren’t even aware that we can think differently. Unbiblical thoughts can steer us into all sorts of wrong living and unnecessary pain.
I believe just as easily as it appeared to be for Him to unwind and wind back up the DNA that I saw it is that easy for Him to surgically remove our unrighteous thinking. He is such a faithful and gentle God that I know I can trust Him in this process.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.” (Proverbs 3:5-8, ESV)
Trust in the Lord
Right now, I really need healing for my flesh and bones. I am mixing my faith with God’s finished works to wait in expectancy for the full healing of my spine from top to bottom.
What are you trusting in the Lord for?
Prayer for you and me: Lord Jesus, we trust You can provide all things; including the wisdom to submit to You so that He can remove our unrighteous thoughts. Help us live in Your perfect will. We need You for all things and are so blessed to be loved by a faithful God who provides for all of our needs. Your finished work on the Cross is more than enough for every issue we can ever encounter. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.
