Bridge the gap from the impossible to possible

Bridge the gap from the impossible to the possible

Have you ever felt like any of the following statements were true?

You live a life of chaos, and you only manage the debris. You only have part of what you need to make life work. If you only had… Then everything would fall into place.

I’m living all three of these lies right now. I scramble to get what I need for myself and my kids, feeling always one step behind. Let’s call it what it is, Satan’s treadmill. We strive to do everything ‘right’ while we accomplish nothing. In all our striving, we only reap the benefit of exhaustion.

When I asked the Lord about my current life status, He had a lot to say. This is what He revealed. I hope it helps your current life situation.

I saw two towers, far apart from each other. He told me, “What you’re going through right now is a time of preparation. It feels like you’re going nowhere fast and everything is flying at you without a pattern or purpose. It isn’t time for the purpose to be revealed. You can’t see everything yet, because it’s still coming together. This is a time of preparation for you and many people I have put around you. What you see are the two columns of a bridge that link what you thought was impossible to the possible. Right now it is two separate towers without a connection.

He then showed me two ways the towers could be connected. The first possibility is to throw a rope across to the other side and then shimmy across the rope dragging with you the parts of a rope bridge. The second, is a wild act of faith, jumping from one column to the other, flying with the rope and parts of the rope bridge, dragging behind you.

I sat contemplating which way would be the best, and yet again tried to orchestrate a plan out of my own understanding. All I got was confusion for my efforts. Both ways seemed beyond my current capabilities. It was impossible for me to bridge the gap from impossible to possible, alone.

“Heather, when you surrender your life to Me, I become Your Lord. I desire to decide which way your faith will be stretched. The long arduous stretch or the heroic leap. Trust I know best and will supply all you need when the time is right. For now, rest in the truth I am preparing a way. I will not leave you in your own mess. I will continue to refine you as you surrender to Me. I did not design you to live outside my guidance, this is called rebellion. Surrender to Me in this time of preparation and trust My plan.”

This is a time of preparation for me. Is it for you? I am waiting for Him to create a way within my mind to bridge the gap from what I think is impossible to the possible.

Do I think He can do it? Yes, He’s done it before and He will do it again. And if He can do it for me, He can do it for you.

What is God doing to stretch your faith right now? Do you believe He will take it to completion?

“in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:6

Behold, I am going to do something new, Now it will spring up; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:19, NASB)

Prayer for you and me:

We break off the lies of the enemy in Jesus’ name. We no longer desire to operate from a mindset of lack. Pour out the knowledge we live from a place of abundance. We confess Christ can and will provide for all our needs. Direct our paths, Lord, we act in futility without Your direction. Bridge the gap for us, from the impossible to the possible. Prepare our hearts for the next move of God in our lives. We proclaim, declare, and decree we will act in submission to Christ. Teach us how to submit in all things. In Jesus’ name.  Amen.
