Rainbow
Minute droplets of water hovered in mid-air a delight all around me, suddenly light streamed through, each droplet erupted a prism of color. A rainbow burst forth, pouring its hues onto my face, tilted to the heavens. I lifted my hands to see the pigments splashed across my arms, what a blessing to be a witness to such magnificence. I twirled in recognition of His majesty.
I marveled at the lavish blessing given to me and pondered its meaning.
“You witnessed a rainbow reaching its full created limits. Pray for you and your children and their children to reach the fullness of their created potential.”

Does this leave you breathless? It does me. It opens my mind to so many questions.
What is my full potential? When He created me, what did he have in mind? And if I’m not reaching my full potential, what is blocking me?
As I think of the rainbow and its beauty, it brings joy to all who see it and is treasured because of its elusive nature. Anyone who sees one feels blessed to be a witness to its splendor.
I think as a human my potential to bless is infinitely more than that of a rainbow. But I also believe our free will can hinder us, put dust between the droplets of water and Light if you will, causing the refractory to fail. We can choose to believe lies, speak harshly and act with hatred in our hearts.
What we believe about ourselves is important, it moves us to speak and act according to these beliefs. False beliefs can taint our ability to reflect His Light ⸺ this hinders us from reaching our full potential. We need to spend time learning what God thinks about us, to change the trajectory of how we conduct our lives.
This is what God says about you:
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 ESV) ♥ This means we were loved before we had ever done anything worthy of love, in fact, we were loved even when we were an enemy of God.
“Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love.” (Ephesians 1:4 ESV) ♥ This means we never need to feel rejected, he chose us before He created the world. Rest and let that sink in.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,” (Ephesians 1:3 ESV) ♥ I believe we could spend our entire lives never reaching the limits of the spiritual blessings He has given us.
Accept what He says about you, to expand your mind to the Truth that you have not yet reached your created limits. He has more for you and it is good.
Prayer for you and me:
Your love reaches to the heavens. Why you chose to love us is mind-boggling and leaves us in awe of Your nature. Help us say yes to Your movement in our lives, bringing us closer to our realized potential in Christ Jesus. Help us agree with who you say we are, and help us reject what the world says about us. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.
