Confession Dream

I had a dream that took me several days to interpret.
I was sitting on the floor outside my church sanctuary with my knees bent while I held onto the backs of my ankles. Which, of course, in this position, made it obvious that I could not move quickly. Then someone came out of the sanctuary who I didn’t know, but I understood was an elder. She said, “This stance is not pleasing to the Lord.”
I then jumped up and ran into the sanctuary.

I struggled with this interpretation for a while. I think the Lord kept it a mystery for a time so that I would contemplate it from multiple angles.
Ultimately, He revealed. “You as a person represent intercessors. Right now, intercessors are sitting down and holding on to their own ankles. They aren’t readily available to move and complete their missions, and they are not spending time in my sanctuary.”
After receiving this interpretation, I prayed and repented on behalf of myself and other intercessors who have not fully engaged in God’s work but focus on earthly things. Distracted by all that we have to do in the world.

I’m not sure what the Lord has assigned you to do, but I encourage you to keep moving forward.
Even if it feels like you’re moving at a snail’s pace, it’s better than stopping your work. All progress under His supervision is good progress.
I pray you won't need a confession dream to bring you back to where you need to be.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Gal. 6:9, ESV)
I praise God that he has given us more than enough grace to overcome times when we are behaving less than we were created to be.
Confession prayer
Prayer for you and me Lord, help us to do the next good assignment that you’ve put in front of us we repent of times when we have sat down when we should’ve been running. Or when we’ve been running instead of seeking your council. Thank you for your grace amen.
